IMPORTANT:
please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") before booking an event with Paranormal Tours Limited. Upon booking an Event, you acknowledge and accept that these Terms will become binding and enforceable to the exclusion of all other terms.
NOTE:
PARANORMAL TOURS CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS AT VENUES WHERE THIRD PARTIES HAVE EXPERIENCED INCIDENTS WHICH ARE BEYOND NORMAL EXPLANATION. HOWEVER, PARANORMAL TOURS DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY UNEXPLAINED OR PARANORMAL ACTIVITIES OR INCIDENTS WILL OCCUR DURING THE TOUR OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION, WHATSOEVER, THAT WHERE A MEDIUM ATTENDS AN EVENT, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE SPIRIT WORLD.
Definitions
"Client" - means the person making a booking to attend the Event, and otherwise referred to as "you";
"Event" means an event to attend a Venue, such time and location to be specified;
"Paranormal Tours Limited" means a company registered under company number 4946371 with a registered office address of 55 Camford Close, Beggarwood, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22 4UJ and may otherwise be referred to as "us" or "we";
"Location" means such location where the Event is being held;
1. Client restrictions
All Clients attending an
Event must be over 18 years old.
If you are disabled, please notify us before making a booking as not all Locations may have suitable disabled access. Due to health and safety requirements and the conditions at certain Locations it is advisable that women who are [more then 3 months] pregnant do not attend an Event.
2. Promotion of an Event
Should you wish to promote any Event on which you have booked spaces (for corporate or charity purposes) we would be happy to provide assistance in further promoting the Event, should you notify us within a reasonable time prior to the commencement of the Event.
3. Booking an Event
The fee for attending the Event will be payable upon making the booking and spaces are subject to availability. Once a booking has been confirmed, the space is not transferable to another person (without our express consent) and the fee shall be subject to the Terms in clause 7.
4. Restrictions at an Event
To
ensure the health and safety of our Client's the following items and activities are prohibited at an Event:
4.1
No
alcohol or drugs are allowed at the Event and if at any time we suspect a Client to have brought alcohol or drugs to an Event or to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave immediately.
4.2 The investigation areas will be pointed out by a Paranormal Tours or Location staff member, it is the Client responsibility to adhere to these, and anyone found to be accessing prohibited areas without permission will be asked to leave immediately.
4.3 There shall be no smoking inside any Location and we shall notify you of any designated smoking areas. No candles or other fire hazards are used whilst attending an Event.
All of the above "rules" are for your own and others safety.
5. Attending the Event
5.1 All Clients' are requested to attend an introductory briefing prior to the Event commencing. Such briefing shall be for your safety and wellbeing during the Event and we may prevent you from attending where you have not been present at the briefing.
5.2 When attending an Event, we recommend that you wear adequate warm clothing as many Locations can be quite cold in the middle of the night. Also, depending on the Location, a change of clean clothes is advisable as some areas may be dusty or wet. We do not take responsibility for any damaged clothing.
5.3 For your own safety
we require that you bring your own torch and spare batteries and ensure that when moving around in the dark, you use your torch at all times

5.4 We recommend that you do not bring valuables to the Event as we shall not be responsible for any loss or damage caused save where provided in clause 8.
5.5 Whilst the stories which we tell about the Location are not fabricated. However, we
cannot guarantee
that any paranormal activity will take place during the Event, as spirits and ghosts have free will, and accordingly we shall not be responsible for any disappointment you may suffer.
5.6 If you have a nervous disposition, please notify us either at the time of making the booking or prior to attending the Event so that we can make extra provisions for our staff to keep a watchful eye on you and provide you with reassurances as necessary.
5.7 From time to time we may film, record or take photographs at an Event. We may ask you agree to waive any rights which may arise to enable us to use such footage in whatever manner to publicise our future events and/or for commercial use.
6. After the Event
We always advise that you secure accommodation for the following day/night or book transport home after an Event, to prevent any accidents due to tiredness caused by the Event. We cannot accept any responsibility for any incidents in which you are involved after the Event has taken place.
7. Termination or cancellation of the Event
7.1 Occasionally, we may need to cancel or postpone or vary the Location of an Event due to weather conditions or situations that are out of our control, including but not limited to a problem with the Location. Should this occur, we will make every effort to ensure you receive a prompt and full refund.
7.2 Notwithstanding 7.1 above, if the Event is moved or rescheduled to a new location or date, we shall notify you of the changes and any variation in the price. Should you wish to re-book you will be given priority and any payment received will, be transferred.
7.3 Should you wish to cancel your space(s) no refund shall be given
7.4 The transfer or resale of any ticket is prohibited without prior consent of Paranormal Tours Ltd.; any Client arriving at the Location who is not on the guest list will not be permitted to attend.
8. Liability
8.1 We shall take every precaution to notify you, in advance, of appropriate health and safety requirements. Investigating the uncharted world of the paranormal can be hazardous and dangerous and may cause physical, psychological and long term illness or injuries, accordingly we advise you to take caution.
8.2 Save as provided elsewhere, our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence shall be unlimited.
8.3 In respect of all other loss or damage which you may suffer or incur in connection with the attendance at the Event, including that arising from any 'poltergeist' activity, our liability shall be limited to that caused by a natural and reasonably foreseeable consequence for which we are at fault or negligent. Nothing in these Terms is intended to affect your legal or statutory rights.
8.4 You shall take all reasonable care when attending an Event not to cause any damage at the Location to property or another person. Where we suffer any liability whatsoever as a result of your actions, we shall be entitled to seek compensation from you to the amount of any claim or action brought in relation to such loss or damage caused or suffered.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1 Save where Terms have been agreed and become binding, we reserve the right to amend and/or vary these Terms at any time as we see fit.
9.2 These Terms do not purport to confer a benefit on any third party.
9.3 Where any competent authority deems any Term to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, then the offending part shall be removed and the validity of the remainder of the Terms shall not be affected.
9.4 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England, and the parties shall submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
